How to make a Waldorf inspired window star

This year we welcome the fall with this nature table. Here I show the process of making a simple fall painting for it. I hope you enjoy it!

These are a sweet treat for the whole family. Oatmeal cookies are great for snacks, dessert or even breakfast. The Almond Extract gives them a pinch of flavor; they just turn out being delicious! They bring me right back to my life in NY and those very cozy and cold afternoons from the late fall when I just wanted to get in my blanket with a cup of hot tea and these cookies. These are super simple to make and are a very tasty cookie that gets even better when you add a good amount of love to the recipe. We shot this with the kids on a Tuesday, which is our baking day. F and I sweat quite a bit while producing this recipe because filming kids is challenging and even more when they are your kids :) It all turned out just great: the kids got to enjoy a super special baking session and we filmed a good recipe with their really cute little hands. I understood how much they enjoyed the whole process of baking these cookies, they felt really proud of themselves :-) It takes time and practice but it's possible to sit back and enjoy watching your 1, 2 or 3 year old mixing flour or adding sugar or eggs to the mix, allowing all the mistakes that will occur to occur with grace and ease. A bit of advice I want to share is to always have in mind that when you sit back and allow your child be and perform at his or her own pace and rhythm, then magic happens in their lives; they gain self-confidence, self-acceptance and in general, self-love.
